A physical card enters the vault
For a card sent to CARDOS, intake comes first. CARDOS must receive the card, identify it and photograph it before the account shows the card as in the vault.
A marketplace card that is already held by CARDOS can transfer to its new owner when payment is confirmed while remaining in the same custody location.

Ownership stays connected to the card
CARDOS records ownership for cards held in custody. The owner can see eligible cards in their account and follow the card from purchase through vault intake, listing or shipment.
A paid order and a card in the vault are distinct states. Payment alone does not mean CARDOS has received the physical card, which is why intake must finish before the card is shown as vaulted.
Keep, list or ship
An eligible vaulted card can stay in custody, be offered for sale through the CARDOS marketplace or be sent to its owner. If a vaulted card sells, title can transfer while custody stays with CARDOS.
Delivery is requested from the CARDOS account. The checkout shows the available shipping service and charge for the destination before the owner confirms it.
